Let me introduce myself, my name is Chris Duhamel. I
was initiated to broomball in 1988 from two of my close friends Tom Rae
and Dale Tellier after a serious hockey injury in
1987.
Since 1988, I have been playing for both
military and civilian team in the Eastern Ontario Region. Here is a
list of teams I have played for: Ottawa Falcons (Military), CFS
Leitrim (Military), Kingston Knights (Military), Ottawa NDHQ Stingers
(Military), Dunbar Panthers (Master), Coors Lights (Elite),
Newington Knights (Intermediate), Hawks in Russell and Miller in
Pakenham. One of the biggest highlight of my broomball career "so
far" was to have the opportunity to play with Embrun Sports Team in
few tournaments in 1998 and as pick-up player at the Provincial in
2000 "Windsor". I had the priviledge to play with some awesome
individual such as Reg MacDonald, Paul Peterson, Jack Gagnon, Guy
Marion, Stephane Gilbert, Chris Carroll and so many other
players. I also participated to two Canadian Forces
Broomball Championships in 1992 (Edmonton) and in 1993 (Calgary).
I
would like to give gratitude to Berk Lawrence "my mentor" and George
"S" Brown "Dad" in providing guidance and keeping my interest in the sport
of broomball. |
